This is Joni, one of our Taiwan Beauty Snakes (Orthriophis taeniurus friesei). These phenomenally patterned snakes are endemic to Taiwan and are found in a variety of habitats, from rocky regions to forests to low vegetation areas. These distinctive colubrids can grow up to 9-10 feet long.
